Greetings from NY
November 5, 2007 – 5:41 amHey everyone, I thought since Harrison called me out, I thought I should say hello and introduce myself. It’s true, I built the ADR Support site and with Harrison’s determination and efforts, it’s been incredible to see it grow into the huge community that it is today. And now we’re working together again on an exciting video project that aims to provide even more info with further reach from real patients talking about their experiences.
The one-liner about me? I used to be heavily involved in the tech industry and switched about 5 years ago into video production and animation/motion graphics. I’ve produced a number of documentaries and short films, both animated and live action for a wide range of clients. Okay, that’s two lines. If you’re REALLY that interested, you can click my drama-filled picture below to find out more.
As Harrison said, we’ve decided to keep this blog to not only keep you updated on the progress of the video, but also share some stories and lessons learned along the way. I have a feeling that keeping this process open will be interesting to a lot of folks from both a content and a documentary-making perspective. I’m sure people will even be able to offer suggestions that we might consider. We want this video to be highly educational and informative, and the readers of this blog will certainly have a lot of collective experience to draw upon.
Harrison said the picture in his post didn’t really look like me, so here’s a more recent picture. I know, I know, it’s very NY. Brooklyn, even. And it’s a good thing, because, that’s where I live. Trust me though, I’m not so serious in person. Hope you’re all well!

Dear Moki,
This is Jim and Anita. We can’t thank you enough for your professional contribution to this incredible project.
Along with Jim’s successful surgery we feel this project(along with the ADRsupport.org site) is another light at the end of a long dark tunnel that, Thank God, isn’t another train!
We look forward to the finished project and, like you and Harrison, along with the other patients, hope that we can help, even if it’s just one person, in some small way.
In health,
Jim and Anita

Hi Jim and Anita,
Thanks for your sweet words! I reviewed your footage and it looks great. Thank you for your candor and willingness to talk about your experience. I’m positive it will be helpful at many levels.
And you’re absolutely right, even if it’s just one person that benefits, that would be pretty good in my book. But my guess is, we’ll be more fortunate!
Be well.
